Privacy Policy – Lost Phone: Detective Mystery

Effective date: 22 October 2026

This privacy policy explains how the Android game Lost Phone: Detective Mystery (package name com.thereviewsnow.lostphone, “the App”) handles information. The App is made and published on Google Play by NITIN, an individual developer based in India (“I”, “me”). Website: thereviewsnow.com.

1. Information I collect

I do not collect, store or receive any personal information. The App has no sign-up or login. It does not ask for your name, phone number, email, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or location.

All phones, chats and people inside the game are fictional. The game does not read the real messages, photos or calls on your phone.

2. Information saved on your device

Your game progress (chapters solved, stars, solve times, hints used, language and text settings) is saved only on your own phone. It is not sent to me or to any server. It is deleted when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: rewarded videos (only when you choose to watch one), full-screen ads between chapters, a banner on some screens, and an ad when you come back to the App after a long time.

To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google information such as:

DataWhy
Advertising ID (device or other IDs)Showing ads, frequency capping, measuring ads, preventing fraud
IP address (used to estimate rough location, such as country)Showing ads suitable for your region, fraud prevention
App interactions with ads, device model, Android versionAnalytics of ad performance
Crash logs and diagnostics from the ads SDKKeeping the ads SDK stable

This data is collected by Google, not by me. It is encrypted in transit. Learn more: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads are used.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App shows a message when the next chapter is ready and up to two daily reminders. These are created on your phone; no data is sent to me. You can turn them off any time in your phone’s Settings → Apps → Lost Phone → Notifications.

5. Ratings and reviews

After you play a few chapters, the App may show Google Play’s own rating card. Your rating and review go directly to Google Play under your Google account and are handled by Google’s privacy policy. The App never sees what you write or whether you rated.

6. Children

The App is a mystery story game with crime themes and is meant for users aged 13 and above. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will help remove it.

7. Data sharing and selling

I do not sell, rent or share any personal information. Apart from Google AdMob (section 3), no third-party services receive data from the App.

8. Data deletion

Because I do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for me to delete on a server. To delete everything the App saved on your phone, uninstall the App or go to Settings → Apps → Lost Phone → Storage → Clear data. For data held by Google for advertising, use the controls in your Google account or phone settings.

9. Security

The App works without any account and does not upload your game data. Ad data is sent to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

10. Your rights (India and other countries)

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may ask questions about, or ask for correction or deletion of, personal data. Since I do not collect personal data, such requests usually concern Google’s advertising data, which you can manage through Google. You may still contact me any time.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
